Burrata at Carbobar

This week, we’ve teamed up with Cadogan Terrace newcomer Carbobar, to highlight some of the events and menu items you’ll find at their neighbourhood bar and kitchen in the weeks ahead.

First up is the return of Miss Aisles Hot Mess Express drag show on 28th March, now happening on the last Friday of every month at Carbobar, due to popular demand. Refresh your memory with our recent interview with the star of the show here.

Then it’s a very special Mother’s Day on Sun 30th Mar, as all mums pay half price when dining with their kids. Book your table now.

Every Sunday, you’ll also find a top roast, and alternative Sunday Stew on offer, with plenty of vegan options, as there are across the whole daily menu, too. Carbobar is extremely dog friendly, and boasts a large covered beer garden, all of which makes it a particularly good destination after a weekend canal or park stroll.

Pictured above is their Burrata with sautéed radicchio, anchovies, lemon dressing, our pick of the small plates from the menu, which is about hearty Italian classics, sourdough pizzas and devilishly good deserts.

📲 Project Builder Update

We’ve reached the end of the programme, so one final question for The Wick crowd, before we move on to the next phase in the development of the area’s digital creative place platform. This week we’re looking at the issue of what should constitute a ‘local’ shop. With Westfield such a looming presence in the area, (and key to many people’s daily lives) should we include offers from big brand retailers in the scheme or not?

Weekly Poll: Question 8

How do we define a 'local' shop that can participate in the rewards scheme?
