🖼️ The long-running Trellis art programme, which brings together artists, UCL researchers and East London’s communities to co-create work is currently showing its fifth exhibition at UCL East Marshgate. A Place of Our Making is a multisensory experience which includes a chance to smell a ‘bagel brick’, shake hands with a 7ft high puppet or join in sensory walks, film screenings and creative workshops. Runs daily to 13th Apr.
🪑 The monthly gathering of 30+ local traders selling art, vintage, records, crafts and loads more at Riverside East is back this Sat 29th Mar with The Big Market Sale Special, offering up to 50% off all kinds of samples, seconds and more, plus all-day workshops and DJ sets alongside the regular food stalls.
🍞 The latest Two More Years Artist In Residence is the Toastman project by London-based Glaswegian artist Rab. His characters, initially seen on charity fund-raising t-shirts and prints, blend fiction and reality, exploring our relationship with escapism. 📦 Eighteen artists explore the emotional and psychological dimensions of accumulating Clutter, and investigate its impact on our lives and society at large in the latest exhibition at Hypha Gallery 1 Sugar House Island. Runs to 12th Apr.
🍽️ Meanwhile, Battlefield Bodies is a show addressing the theme of eating disorders.
